Dear Mathi Thanks for posting May Day greetings to the readers of your blog. May Day greetings to you all. Unbridled growth of Capitalism in the name of Globalization during the last two decades ie from 1991 has eroded to some extent the fervour of the working class to get organised for May Day celebrations to revitalize their vigour in remembering those who lost their life and shed blood for arching 8 hour work. However we have to spread the historical importance of May Day and the sacrifices of the trade union leaders for getting 8- hour work to the working class to the present generation by every possible means.
